Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the Korean Canadian Lawyers Association Student Society (KCLASS) team

Recruit other law students to join the KCLASS team

Lead KCLASS initiatives (e.g. events, mentorship programs)

Report to the KCLA executive committee and attend meetings
-
Connect with law students at various law schools
-
Provide general support to the KCLA executive committee as needed

KCLASS
The Korean Canadian Lawyers Association Student Society (KCLASS), established in 2014, is a student run association dedicated to promoting the academic, professional, and social development of its members and community.
Mentorship Program
One of our main initiatives is a one-on-one mentorship program that connects KCLA student members with its practicing members, and serves the dual purposes of (1) providing students with guidance and direction for professional development,
and (2) providing practicing lawyers with an opportunity to give back to the community.
Community Outreach
Amongst its other goals, KCLASS aims to build strong relationships with communities beyond the legal profession. In pursuit of this goal, KCLASS maintains a mentorship program between law students and undergraduate students who are interested in applying to law school in the future.
